The Infinite Game

A lot of our frustration with other people in life comes as a result of our belief that other people are not playing a game under its correct finite versus infinite distinction. And so when you're trying to play a finite game and other people engaged in the same activity or treating it as an infinite game, it can feel very annoying and tedious and pointless and frustrating. So I think this is true about what I'm about to say, I think it's true about politics, but I think it't true about all kinds of things.
