The Benefits of Living Mulch for Carrot Growers
I'm a pretty terrible carrot grower by the way So I I focused on what I did well and just grew small amounts of some of the challenging crops Although we did well with seeded lettuces and salad mixes. We never had any of those annual weed problems in this red clover that we had with the white clover Early on when I was killing the field every year and then planting the white over living mulches. But what we did have is we had the redClover moving back into the into the crop row And so our main weed became our living mulch, but Over time realized that if we just suppress the red clover at certain times by the end of the year it
