The Importance of Honoring Our Enemy
David is the classic songwriter. He is the Renaissance man of the Old Testament where he fights and he leads. David did not allow himself to be held captive by the memory of Saul. And so that can be a reminder for us too, right? We have people in our lives that want to hold us captive,. They've chosen to be our enemy for whatever reason. But they don't necessarily have permission to hold us hostage.
