"I've been seeing my psychologist weekly since February this year and things are going great. But I'm aware that I've been coming quite attached to her," she said. "It's incredibly common, especially when we have trauma, disorganized attachment." Being attached to your therapist is incredibly common; it's a normal response from what you've been through. It might be good practice to have someone who's consistent who you disconnect from for a little bit then come back to.
