Pixar director Jan Pinkova has been working on animated short films for years. After winning the Oscar for fifth, she decided to quit her job at Pixar and become a freelancer. She says it's always murky what really works in animation because of how time frames are set up by studios. "I think that there was a little bit, I wasn't like too rosy," said Pinkova.
