Freud Museum London: Psychoanalysis Podcasts
Freud and the Non-European Sayeds
Sally Kohn: I want to think just finally in a kind of meta way, really, through this exhibition and these discussions. It appears that for Freud and perhaps for us that the past never really is a static thing, you know, waiting for us to discover it. But that it takes on new forms every time that we engage with it. And so the search for origins in a way seems to be almost doomed from the outset. How can psychoanalysis help us to think about maybe the stability or otherwise of objects themselves? Yeah, that's great. Miriam, thank you.
