Jim Bianco: The idea that interest rates going up holds deposits out of the system is has a some basic flaws. He says people are saying even with an insured deposit, what am I doing in a bank that's paying me nothing or some close to nothing when I can go into a money market fund? And so it's a natural flow. Jim Bianco: Does that mean the banking system fails? No, what it means is the banking system has to adjust its rates to decide whether to be competitive.
