The Bizarre Prometheum Testimony
Prometheum has been accused of misleading Congress about its ties to Chinese firm Shanghai Wang Xing. Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville, along with five Republican colleagues, published an open letter urging an investigation into Prometheum specifically around those ties. In his letter, Tuberville says that Prometheum may have provided false testimony to Congress or violated U.S. securities laws.
