"It's almost like our minds have been in so infected by industrialism and like globalization that we can't even really wrap our heads around the goodness of local specificity," he says. "Instead of allowing certain systems to emerge from where they are um the place the the place itself will allow things to emerge" He adds there's a naturalness to doing this like it feels normal and people feel happy doing it, unlike using cotton which is grown on a massive scale and responsible for a ton of damage to the environment.
