How to Describe a Relationship in English
If you are starting to date someone and it's getting a little bit more serious but you don't necessarily want to call them your boyfriend or your girlfriend. When we describe two people that are starting to get together romantically we call them an item. A more modern phrase that I hear especially girls say a lot is yeah we kind of we are a thing. So practice listening to that word steady, steady.
