The Republicans' Budget Negotiation
The budget runs out on October 1st. The Republicans tried to take a hostage in terms of threatening the US economy by threatening not to raise the debt ceiling. But this is an agreement that we probably would have come to anyway. And I think President Biden did about the best he could do in a difficult situation.
