This Sunday, voters in Turkey will go to the polls with the opposition optimistic that they have a real chance of ousting Taip Erdogan. We talked with Saleem Kauru about whether the polls that show Erdogan losing will hold. On Thursday, the Supreme Court ruled that this week's detention of former prime minister Imran Khan was illegal and ordered his immediate release. And finally, Israel has launched airstrikes in Gaza again, coinciding with the one-year anniversary of the killing of Palestinian-American journalist Shrin Abu Akley.
