The Old Testament Is Impossible to Live the Christian Life
Legalism removes the necessity of faith. Faith says, oh, i can't and i desperately need god and my life. But legalism turns within yourself to create your own spiritual life. It's interesting, as you go back into the old testament, not a single person could live the perfection of the law. So if the old testament was impossible to live out, how much more impossible is it to live out the reality of the new covenant?
