Can Spontaneity Create a Revolutionary Movement?
I want to focus on some examples where we've seen that sort of spontaneity. I think one prime example is the Occupy movement within the U.S., which really did happen kind of spontaneously. There's a lot of writing right now coming from more of the ultra-left factions of the left about the yellow-vest movement in France. Has there been an example of a movement that developed wholly organically and then overcame a capitalist state? And I don't think there is.
