Some people still and the chop, even the commissioner of major leek baseball. i thought this was a good opportunity to take a deeper dive into the brave's history and give some context to this whole story. The tammany in tammany hall is derived from tamanend, a native american chief who signed a peace treaty with william penn, the founder of penn Pennsylvania. Tamanend got credit for allowing colonists to settle in pennsylvaniaandhe had sort of mythical status after his death.
