Bruce, advocate for Anglicanism to stay in the state church in England. He doesn't believe in any of it, but it's formative for him. Bruce: There was just an optimism, like a fresh air optimism from progressives about what Christianity could achieve if it was unmoored from its racist colonial view of progressivism.
