The Great Victory Ball
On November 11th, 1918, the last armistice is signed and yay, hooray, World War I is officially over. Everyone's going to celebrate what they call the great victory ball in the Royal Albert Hall to be held on November 27th, 1918. The ball is also intended to celebrate all the contributions and achievements made by women to support the war at country time. All the proceeds of the ball go to the nation's fund for nurses in honor of their care for the wounded soldiers. And every ball is an opportunity for everyone to finally set their cares aside and feel some relief from the years of stress that they endured.
