The Importance of Creativity

The idea of hallucination and imagination being so closely related to the point where it's difficult, maybe to discern as we know. When you are imagining something, you know to some degree that it does not exist yet in the real world. Therefore, you can make an argument that some degree of insanity or creativity, which are both just dots on the same spectrum is necessary to progress in life. So what do you guys think, man?
