Functional Programming
The all or nothing approach, i think, is too a, it's too much to ask. Maybe someone reads your book and all they take away from it is structural sharing, for example. Or maybe defense ofe copying is solving the problem for them because they have a legacy system which does with stuff. You'll never get there. But you got to start where people are. The movement toward the ideal is what i'm calling functional programming, not the ideal itself. So thank you so much for writing the book. I really enjoyed it.
