Is There a Stage Four of Spiritual Development?
The report talks about the large number of active LDS church members who are in faith crisis. The root of the problem is a lot of truth claims and struggles with doctrine and theology that are not necessarily in keeping with what we would consider a loving gospel of Jesus Christ. Both parties have work to do, but it is very challenging to work through a faith crisis when the instigating party or the parties that have not acknowledged a lot of the problems are acknowledging them either not at all or very, very slowly and indirectly.
