Is GitOps a Disciplined Form of Infrastructure as Code?
The key difference that I've identified with GitOps in particular is this ability to continuously deploy. You could do infrastructure as code, questionably without some form of a version control system. To be really opinionated and to make the most of it, you do want a vision control system. And every operation you do, you should be doing through version control.
