Gamification

I was shocked reading your book by how much of this stuff doesn't work and how much people don't want to talk about that. I think the reason for that is that a lot of gamification, it's just really generic. It might not be able to increase productivity or happiness, but it can help cut work as pay by obfuscating it. People are just people just want to believe that adding game like things to activities will always work, you know? And so it's kind of like touching the naive. You know, my game zombies run is very different from Duolingo and that's very different from Uber.
