Is Rovio Re-Releasing Angry Birds 2?

The original Angry Birds game is being removed from Android completely and renamed in iOS as Red's first flight. Rovio says the reasons due to the game's negative impact on the wider games portfolio. The hypothesis is that high spenders, those that really love the game and love the franchise, were likely playing the original game again instead of Angry Birds 2 or Angry Birds 3 Blast.
