Bonnie Glaser: In early December, Chinese President Xi Jinping traveled to Saudi Arabia for a three-day trip. To discuss Xi's trip and China's policy toward the Middle East and North Africa, I'm delighted to have as my guest today Dr. Jonathan Fulton. He is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Xi Ed University in Abu Dhabi and a non-resident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C. The two countries signed approximately $50 billion of investment agreements on green energy, housing, logistics and other sectors.
