Macros in Ruby
Cargo expand has been an invaluable tool to see what it is, but not as usable as I would like. macros are really powerful and you can build some really nice things with macros. They have drawbacks today: If you get the macro wrong and you get compiler errors, usually they're unreadable. There's an air inside of the macro generation that doesn't help me. So perhaps like if you could assume a situation where one might macros were purely functional, because right now you can make like arbitrary HTTP calls or whatnot? Or and then you could say they're purely functional, you could expand them nicely in line just to see what they're doing.
