Two years ago, Steven Spielberg produced a remake of one of the most favorite movies of all time West Side Story. I actually saw that. And it updated to some extent, right? But again, because it's almost a near replica, the novelty that was introduced was probably was not enough. You would think that a guy that produced ET and the other smash hits and is about my age, would have more segull than to waste a few hundred million dollars on something that you might have known wouldn't succeed commercially.
