In Hosea 1314 after the sorrows of a travailing woman verse 14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave. And death will be saying you know where are your plagues. It shows the power of God that he has power over the grave. The hope is is that eventually we'll have this reunification with God that would be far beyond any peace or hope or happiness that we could ever find any other source in life.
How is Hosea a love story between God and His people? Dr. Aaron Schade examines the symbolism of the Bride and Bridegroom and the deep and everlasting love between God and covenant Israel.
