i think one of the big takeombs is that this sort of story of human discovery and human understanding can be told as the story of a kind of frontier. Like thomas edison had everything he needed to discover the light, to invent the light bulb, and then he does it. And so what visionaries are is really people who see stepping stones before other people realize that they're there. That's actually what was their genius. The genius was that they saw that that all had snapped into focus.
