A lot of coaching is taught is high pressure sales and exaggerated claims. And I think that's what feels salesy when someone's really pitching something to you, not giving you the spaciousness to make the decision for yourself. Salesy and manipulative language shows up in tons of different ways. You know it when you see it. So how can we not be salesy? Because when we're confronted with salesy language constantly, we might just assume that's what copywriting is. It has to be this way, right? But that's so far from the truth to sell things. You don't have to sell your soul. You can be yourself.
Do you struggle with how to talk or write about your business? Are you secretly a lil’ afraid of sounding like a “girl boss”, too pushy, or using too much marketing-bro speak? Same.
In this episode, Michelle explores the concept of non-coercive marketing and how to sell and talk about your Sacred Work and business, without being sales-y.
Michelle covers:
- the role of authenticity in the way we sell
- what storytelling and non-coercive copywriting have in common
- how to practice non-coercive copywriting in real-time and how to be persuasive without being manipulative
and more, ofc! 😉
Thoughts? We want to hear what you think! Let us know and connect with host, Michelle Pellizzon-Lipsitz, and team Holisticism and tell us what you think about non-coercive copywriting.
