So looking at how do we replace these behaviors that are in act, we talk about away moves and towards moves. And the things that kind of move us to make those choices are our values and the things that we find really important. So for example, I want to hand my child their coat instead of yelling at them is because I want to show my child kindness and compassion. That can then leach into daily life and various choices without kind of bringing the shame that not meeting a goal can sometimes bring.
