Is There Something We Can Do About It?

I don't think anybody's got any solutions yet. I certainly haven't seen anybody come up with a blue print of how we get from here to there. The other singularity, the technological singularity, is a longer term project and work has already started on that. There are four organizations already working on that. But what we are seven billyan smart little mammals, and i think we need to apply quite a few of our best brains to these problems. So the first step is is to get everybody thinking it. And the second step is to monitor and do scenario planning about the future. A i thinktat those are the sorts of questions we need to be thinking about.
