How to Be a Successful Private Equity Investor
I think it's a great career for a number of reasons. Unlike in banking where you tend to be involved when an asset is being bought at the beginning of its state transaction lifecycle or being sold kind of end of the rainbow. Getting involved in the full life cycle of a transaction, um, is one thing that really motivates people to move into that kind of principal role. You make a lot of data driven, difficult decisions and are given a lot of very sharp tools. If you just want to make money, don't get into any other industry.
