Some in the transhumanist project say, why not make people capable of being underwater for extended periods and maybe doing oxygen transfer like a fish would having some kind of assistive gills? And if we were to do that by, for example, taking human embryos and fusing them with animal embryos to create hybrids or chimeras. That's the kind of thing that some people are going to say, well, that, you know, there's some good at the end of that process that we should be aspiring to.
