Finding Kindred Spirits at a University
Don't accept anybody's orthodoxy. Read a broad range of views on any topic. Be suspect of any academic department or professors who try to force onto you a way of thinking. And then the second is to question assumptions. The most important thing at a university, whatever the prevailing a conventional wisdom, is to find those kindred spirits and associate with them.
