In traditional composites you'll see just woven cloths stacked together. But there's all sorts of three dimensional braiding techniques or weaving techniques to create very complex structures. And that fiber architecture plays a very significant role in the performance of the material system. So for our melt infiltrated material in the lead engine we use what we call a uni directional pre-preg material.
