The Growth of GST in India
The average monthly collection was around 89,000 crores first year. Now for the last few months, the average collection has been in excess of 1.5 lakh crore. There are estimates which say that it could inch towards 2 lakh crore per month. Of course, government believes that tax to GDP is to improve further. With the overall tightening of tax administration, increase use of technology, I think it will further increase.
