The US and Australia's Relationships in the Pacific Islands Forum

There are already problems with this Treaty, but what Australia is doing is really kind of flying in the face of that and their regional commitments too. They're a member of the Pacific Islands Forum as well. So we're supposed to have Pacific-led foreign policy and yet this is just going back into these alliances with old colonial allies instead. But all this is not enhancing Australia's security, as they claim. On the contrary, it would just make Australia a target in the time of war.
