A new phrase, a new name for g o engineering should be climate restoration. If you were to pump the water out from under the big glaciers in antarctica and greenland, you would perhaps slow them back down to their ordinary speeds before climate change. A stabilizing sea level inits sea level abilization might come under the rubic go engineering. Both of them might be a necessary for us to do on an emergency basis, just to hold things together at the biosphere level,. so that civilization doesn't get hammered on multiple fronts.
