Rinow: Where do we experience that kind of division or fragmentation to day? And that definitely occurs to day in a variety of areas, race, gender, power, status, economic status, values, eatomy, socio economic group. I think the way that we let paul's letter before us is to begin to adopt in imagination, to say, where do i see the body of christ? Do i see churches that won't talk to each other? Or even more, churches where some people who have higher social status and have certain privileges, and then churches of a different ethnic group who have lower social status. It seems to me it maps on pretty powerfully.
