How Does Your Father Know All This?
Your mind mapping ability shuts down when what you are experiencing and seeing in the other person is too awful to see. So your therapist might say, i don't really think your father was in entionally trying to hurt you. He probably just lacked empathy. But that assumes hthe people who harmed you don't have mind mapping ability. To say, dad lacked ampathy and he didn't realize the impact of his words on me would be a mistake.
