The Risks of Amputation in Young Active Athletes
The development is generally from the preschemic, sematic pain stage to vascular neurological changes. Depending on what body part you're thinking about, will dictate the risks. So again, ranging from your typical 70 year old er, intermittent claudican. The risk there is something like amputation or something in the cyclist. Very few cases of amputationin young, active athletes. But later on in life, they can be candidates for amputation in the fifth and sixth decades of life if they've had these experiences in their youth.
