The state of the widgets is what you give the widget, so there's only one state. Whereas in the view world, you have your state, then you've replicated inside the views and now that state exists twice. So we use more memory and goes back to also what Lynn was just saying, where if you look at text view and view, because they have all those features,. They have all those fields for features that maybe you will never ever use but that we have to instantiate in memory every single time.
