How to Make Money on Trends
If a track record exists that shows me making one to two percent every month with never a down month, I say to myself, I've either got long-term capital management on my hands or Bernard Madoff. Three years of profits, monthly profits, in a row just go down the drain and they blow up and they're gone. And so yeah, I am very suspicious of track records that are professing to be trend followers and doing it month after month with profits. You've got to be really figuring that one out because it's a tough nut to crack.
