A Study of a Proseal LMA

All patients were fasted for a minimum of 8 hours and given re-nitidine before the operating room. They underwent a modified RSI with propofol and then rockuronium with application of crycoid pressure. A size 4 Proseal LMA was then inserted. Patients who had reflux, obesity, or risk factors, or history of known difficult intubation were excluded from the study.
