archaeology is fundamentally interdisciplinary. You're working with a whole bunch of different tools, you're working with specialists in different fields. I think what's also been great about the genetics is that in past, archaeologists had used material culture to infer what was happening to the population in genetic terms. Because we don't have to do that any more,. that that is a completely independent variable that we can compare against changesi material culture, both portable and monumental, and other other forms. So yes, its tremendous, exciting Is hard work.
