The Importance of Play in Children's Learning

Play is just so important. And they learn so much. You don't realize how much they're learning, but they really are learning social emotional skills. The child led play when they get to lead the play and the parent follows along with who are the characters and where should this go? It builds their self-esteem and it builds that parent-child connection which makes the other parts of the day go so much better. So a lot of these strategies that enhance development also have the added bonus of improving the parent-child relationship.
