The Importance of Progress in Marxism

In Leninism, in Marxist Leninism, it is very much a notion of the forces of production having a sense of almost automatic growth throughout history. In Stalinism, this is at its highest point of abstraction from the class struggle as progressive ideology. And I think it should be noted that American progress ideology at one point did have its roots in struggle. It's sort of gestured to when talking about the virile, you know, rough writer kind of Western expansion kind of American progress ideology.
