Omar Qaddafi's Story
In 1954, young Omar Qaddafi convinced his dad to let him go to school. The school was so far away from his home that he had to live in town while he attended classes. He slept at a mosque every night and went back home on the weekends, walking 15 miles each way. School was tough, but it gave Omar a chance to develop his first last and greatest love ranting about politics.
