Melony read is a u k. Journalist, and she writes a piece in the times newspaper every saturday. It's called spinal column, and describes her life as a tetroplegic. She fell off her horse ten years ago, breaking her neck and back. Melony recalls the moment she woke up in hospital. The nurse had put an envelope on my bed, and i realized that my fingers were no longer capable of opening an envelope. Writing was a life sraft for me because it gave me work. It was like having your own serapust.
