Is There a Deceptive Study in Psychiatry?

CNN's John Sutter spoke with Josh Rosenan, the author of a new book about deceptive studies. He says one study asked patients to take copious notes and observe everything they saw at a psychiatric facility. The participants quickly realized that staff couldn't have cared less if they were taking notes during their time in the mental hospital. One participant even tried to woo a nurse on the premises by saying he was a psychologist who provided psychotherapy for other patients.
